The Kogui, whose name means Jaguar in the antique language, are an ethnic group that live in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. Their civilization has survived for centuries, they are descendants of the Tayrona Cultura that lived in the area before the arrival of the europeans. They were an advance culture that built many structures in stone and paths in the jungle. They made many objects with gold that hang from the trees and around their necks.
07.30 a.m. Depart from the hotel in 4×4 vehicle.
08.30 a.m. Start the walk of about 2 hours.
10.30 a.m. Kogi Village Tour and Ritual with the Mamo (chief of the town).
11.30 a.m. Move to the Palomino river at few distance.
12.00 h. Tubing in the river for about 2 hours to reach the sea.
02.00 p.m. Walk back to the 4×4 vehicle and have lunch in a nice restaurante where we recover from the walk. You can take a bath in the ocean.
05.00 p.m. Back to the Hotel.
